"I met NJ gynecologist Dr. Jacoby about 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my second child. From that moment I knew he was the right OBGYN for me and I knew I would follow him wherever he decided to practice.
I met with him a few times during my pregnancy and he asked to deliver my son. I was thrilled that he would want to deliver my baby. However, once he saw the scheduled date he realized he had a prior commitment. I teased him and told him that this was his last chance because this was "it" for me.
A couple of years after my second son was born I faced two more miscarriages, making the count 5 miscarriages in total. My last miscarriage was difficult since I was in my fourth month when the loss occurred. The day of the miscarriage Dr. Jacoby did not leave my side. At this moment I realized that he was hurting just as much as I was and he strongly cared about me and my family and what we were going though.
Dr. Jacoby recommended a high risk pregnancy specialist. A year later I found out I was pregnant again and this time I knew what I needed to do to hopefully sustain a full pregnancy. The pregnancy was still very stressful for me but Dr. Jacoby supported me through it all. He was so patient and understanding. I would practically be in his office every week (ok, I was in his office every week) and I would call him with questions and concerns all the time. He never let me down and called back right away.
This baby, who is now three, was just as important and special to Dr. Jacoby as she is to me and my husband. During my long anticipated delivery, Dr. Jacoby brought in a CD player and played "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder at the precise moment she came into this world. This song, which was dear and near to his heart, made my daughter's arrival into this world special and truly memorable. This is a perfect example of NJ gynecologist Dr. Jacoby's thoughtfulness."
