"I first came to NJ OB GYN Dr. Jacoby after losing my first son during the 38th week of pregnancy.
I came to see him for a postpartum visit because I lost trust and respect for the OBGYN NJ practice that was involved with our loss. Not only did Dr. Jacoby provide a competent postpartum check, he spent over 45 minutes with my husband and me to talk about our loss and our plans for trying again. During this first meeting we learned that Dr. Jacoby is very knowledgeable, cares about his patients, and takes time to work with each patient and understand the unique issues that arise in each pregnancy.
He recognized our high level of education and felt comfortable answering our technical and detailed questions. He answered each question and didn't brush aside any issue we raised. He had a calming nature but didn't sugar-coat his answers. The only guarantee he made was that he would provide the best care possible. I soon became pregnant with our son Zachary, and the 37 weeks between conception and delivery of our healthy baby boy was the most trying time of my life.
Dr. Jacoby helped me through this period. Despite my previous loss and my experience with other doctors, I learned to trust and feel comfortable with NJ gynecologist Dr. Jacoby and his assessment of my pregnancy with Zachary. This trust and comfort helped relieve some of my anxiety and provide a better environment for Zachary.
Dr. Jacoby was available any time I called-he often called me to see how I was doing-and he followed-up with me after my visits with the high-risk pregnancy specialists. Zachary is the love of my life, and delivering him was the most personal and vulnerable period of my life.
